Roosevelt Water is required by the State of Washington to ensure that every property with an irrigation system backflow assembly is tested annually.  (See WAC 246-290-490)  Failing backflow assemblies jeopardize the community’s drinking water supply.  Pat Bauccio is coordinating with Jordan Ottow of Panther Backflow Testing to have the assemblies in our neighborhood tested all at once at a discounted rate.  Normally, it would cost $50 per lot to have the backflow assembly tested, however, Jordan has offered to test the assemblies for $35 per lot if he can get enough lots on board.
